I don't know what happened to the last four weeks, but it's almost gone. And now I have an exam looming on Friday and surgery on Monday, with no preparation for either. I am definitely setting a good foot forward this year.

Since I haven't been studying, I must say that I have enjoyed my free time. I went to see two film festival movies, went star-searching in Yorkville, saw some stand-up comedy by the Cash for Life fairy, caught some live jazz and blues, and had two potluck dinner parties. And of course, watched some good television programming (like the two-hour finale of "The Amazing Race" last night -- what a great episode! I almost cried!).

Alright, that's enough procrastination. I should get back to studying. I don't want to fail this exam and not be able to start real school in the hospital this year.
